GVNA HealthCare held its Annual Meeting on Tuesday, March 27 at McNally’s in Westminster, MA. According to Elaine Fluet, President & CEO, this year’s meeting was a celebration of the agency’s accomplishments in 2017, as well as an opportunity to acknowledge and thank employees, Board members and volunteers for their unwavering dedication to GVNA and our mission.

“In 2017, Homecare and Hospice provided 73,529 nursing visits to patients and our rehabilitation therapists made 27,192 visits,” said Fluet. “GVNA continues to lead the industry in patient satisfaction scoring, achieving a 5-Star rating from the Centers for Medical & Medicaid Services” she said. “Our Homecare department also achieved a Deficiency-free survey from the Department of Public Health”, she added. “We are strategically positioned to continue to provide exceptional care to the communities we serve,” said Fluet.

“In 2017 we strengthened our relationships with our existing partners, as well as collaborated with new providers and networks,” Fluet noted. “We remain a local community-based provider valuing collaboration and partnership with local industry leaders, consumers and providers of care,” she said. “All of our programs met high standards for customer service and quality outcomes, while complying with new strenuous regulations and no increases in reimbursement,” she added.

“As Chairman of the Board, I and my fellow Directors congratulate the employees on their success in achieving such high standards in the midst of political uncertainty with healthcare policy,” said Ken Tomasetti. “GVNA’s success will continue as the employees and the volunteer Board work together to adapt to the changing healthcare environment,” said Tomasetti. “We will always keep our commitment to quality community-based healthcare and patient satisfaction,” he said.

GVNA HealthCare Board of Directors for 2017 included Jeff Aubuchon, Andrew Boucher, Christof Chartier, John Flick, Michael Gerry, Brian Jette, Edward Manzi, Nancy Monette, Deb Orre, Enrico Palmerino, Tina Santos, Ken Tomasetti and Albert Rose.
